The barrow arrives folded neatly in a carry bag so you can get it in your car with ease. Opening it up is simple and once it’s open you’ll find a large bag at the back, a platform in the middle, and a front panel that you can choose to open for more space.

Build

The bag is best for soft or delicate gear like bite alarms and keep nets, while the middle and front platforms offer enough room to store and transport everything you might need to your carp fishing spot.

The barrow also comes with a stand at the rear so when parked it stays level so your gear doesn’t fall off and is well protected.

Weight

The barrow is a little heavy at 15kgs but that is what you get when products are made of steel.

It’s also not high enough and the low frame will hit your knees if you’re taller than 6ft making it an uncomfortable product to use.

Overall, it’s one of the best barrows in terms of space and portability that will help make moving your gear from the car to your carp spot a breeze.

NGT

NGT Dynamic Fishing Trolley

More of a trolley than a barrow but it still serves the same purpose, to help you move your tackle around.

NGT Dynamic Fishing Trolley

First off, the NGT Dynamic Trolley is definitely more of a trolley than a barrow but it still serves the same purpose, to help you move your tackle around.

It does have less space than a barrow but it’ll be much easier when going up or down stairs thanks to its design.

Build

The base plate has dimensions of 46 x 38 cm which is an ok size with enough room to hold a large tackle box and some more gear. It might not have all the space you want though, but that depends on how much gear you have.

Weight

It’s quite light at 10kgs, lighter than most barrows and it folds flat for storage and portability. It comes with two wheels that need inflating on arrival and including a free tackle bag, which might entice you into buying it.

Design

The frame sits quite low to the ground but since you’ll be pulling it at an angle, it’ll be high enough to clear most terrains. There’s also a stand underneath so it sets level when parked so nothing slides off.

Price

The one thing I don’t like about this product is the price range it’s in. You’re getting much less available space than a barrow for the same amount of money, and simply based on that, I’d recommend a barrow over this every day of the week.

Specs

  • Material: Steel

Bison Fishing Barrow

The Bison Barrow is one of the easiest barrows to get into your car and to your carp spot.

This barrow comes with one wheel at the front making it super maneuverable.

The wheel is also puncture-proof and quite large but it can get stuck in deep mud from time to time.

Build

The barrow is made from steel for durability making it quite heavy but it’s still lighter than most other barrows at 11 kgs.

The barrow has a good amount of space for all your gear bags with an 80 x 60 cm platform.

The barrow also comes with soft grippy handles for comfortable driving.

Another thing I like about this barrow is that it folds flat so you can put it in your car with ease.

The one downside is that the wheel at the front can be a pain to remove, so I’d advise storing it upside down and avoiding taking the wheel off altogether.

It has a platform of 50 x 47 cm for all your gear, so it won’t hold that many bags, but you can stack your equipment if you want.

The barrow is made from steel for durability and comes with a wheel on each side. It moves well over wet ground and you can adjust the handle to make it your preferred height, depending on how tall or short you are.

There are no side panels on this barrow to stop equipment from sliding off and you might need some bungee cords to fasten your carp equipment to it so it doesn’t slip off.

Portability

The barrow is foldable for storage and portability and its low profile makes it convenient to squeeze into your car boot.

Overall it’s an excellent carp barrow for anglers without much equipment or who want to travel light.

The only negative is that when you get the barrow, you’ll need to bolt each wheel on which can be a hard task.
